Those do look perfect!
I tried making cinnamon rolls a couple days ago and they were a huge failure. They tasted more like lightly cinnamon scented bread. Not gooey at all. I'll have to try Alton's recipe, he never lets me down!

I LOVE Alton Brown. And I LOVE these cinnamon buns. I also make 24 in a 9x13" pan. Because 3 is just the right amount whereas if you made 12 the equivalent would be 1.5 and that just isn't right. You can't leave that wonderful warm and gooey half a cinnamon bun sitting there unappreciated. And then you end up feeling REALLY sick.

Alton Brown is my Boyfriend.
The Man-of-My-Dreams has learned to deal with this fact. He doesn't even cry when someone mentions Altons name... anymore.
You simply MUST make some of his other recipes... I have never been let down!
Beautiful pics btw!

You haven't tried any of his recipes? His macaroni and cheese is my go-to recipe. It's wonderful! He makes a roux with mustard powder and sticks a bay leaf in the béchamel, among other things. It always turns out fantastic.
